The Nifty 50 edged up 0.34% to close at 23,140.50 on September 25, 2026, a move of +77.40 points from 23,063.10. Bank Nifty edged up 0.26% to 55,580.40. 34 of the 50 index stocks rose and 15 fell, while across the broader Nifty 500 advances outnumbered declines 249 to 247. India VIX, the market’s fear gauge, fell 4.00% to 12.18.
