Match-Trade Launches Read-Only MCP for Broker Back Offices
Match-Trade Technologies launches a Broker Management MCP giving brokers and prop firms read-only AI access to live Match-Trader Manager and Admin data.

Match-Trade Technologies has released a Model Context Protocol integration that lets brokers and prop firms pull live Match-Trader Manager and Admin data into compatible AI clients, according to Financemagnates.
The company calls the product the Match-Trader Broker Management MCP. It follows an August release in which Match-Trade added AI Skills to its Broker API and CRM API, an earlier step that let AI systems work with broker data and documentation to produce integrations, reports and dashboards.

Serhii Poplavskyi, who heads the Match-Trader platform at Match-Trade Technologies, said the MCP lets teams ranging from the dealing desk to client support put direct questions to their Match-Trader environment. He did not describe specific customers or deployments.
Key facts
- The integration covers live platform data, including accounts, positions, orders, ledgers, groups, instruments, market data, trading sessions and risk rules.
- The current release provides more than 20 defined actions, and documentation describes it as read-only.
- Match-Trade said the MCP operates within existing access controls.
- It is available only to brokers and prop firms running a Match-Trader Full Server License.
- Match-Trade introduced AI Skills for its Broker API and CRM API in August.
What brokers and prop firms can query
Users ask questions in natural language and get structured answers back. Financemagnates reported that the integration can be used to check exposure, margin levels, account balances, open positions, routing rules and instrument settings. Prop firms get an additional use case: comparing settings across different groups.

The read-only framing matters for back-office teams. Staff who would otherwise pull figures from dashboards or request reports from engineering can instead put the question to an AI client, with answers bounded by whatever permissions their account already carries.
MCP adoption across trading technology
Match-Trade is not first to this. Leverate launched an MCP server in July connecting AI assistants to broker CRM, marketing and risk data. FundedNext later released a read-only MCP covering prop trading account information, payouts, trading performance and rules. In September, The5ers launched an MCP letting users connect evaluation and Pro accounts to AI clients including ChatGPT and Claude.
Taken together, the releases point to a pattern in which trading technology vendors expose account and risk data to general-purpose AI assistants rather than keeping it inside proprietary dashboards. The common constraint across the launches is read access only.
Why it matters
For brokers and prop firms, the value is speed of access to operational data rather than any new trading capability. Querying positions, margin and routing rules through an AI client could shorten the loop between a support question and an answer, and could make group-level configuration comparisons routine rather than a manual exercise.
The licence requirement narrows the audience. Firms on a Match-Trader Full Server License can adopt the integration without changing platforms; everyone else would need to weigh a migration, which is a decision far larger than adding an AI client.
What to watch
The next signal is how Match-Trade extends the integration beyond its current read-only state, and whether rival platform vendors respond with comparable MCP offerings. Nothing in the current release permits write actions, so any change to that boundary would be the development worth tracking.
